Fertiliser Advisors Certification and Training Scheme - FACTS
To equip students with the knowledge and skills required to gain the FACTS Certificate. Candidates will have a basic understanding of fertilisers to enable them to give advice, which is both economically and environmentally sound. The course is suitable for advisors, agronomists, farmers and farm managers. The FACTS award is the standard industry qualification for those selling or advising on the use of crop fertilisers.

- Transport, storage, handling and application of fertilisers
- Legislation and other requirements to protect the environment
Delivery
The course begins with an online preparation day, which provides an introduction to FACTS and The Fertiliser Manual(RB209). The main course is delivered over seven days, organised into two blocks of study, followed by a day of mock vivas. Delivery is through participatory lectures and group exercises.
